So, just in case there is a question about WHY anybody would want to learn the art of graceful simple living, James Wolfensohn, Head of the World Bank explains it so eloquently. He speaks here in 2011, about the imminent "tectonic shift in the way the world works," visa-a-vis global economic shift. From 80% of the world’s worth, we will have 35% by 2050. He does not spell out what this shift will look like on the ground in the US. All you need to do is drive down the street and look at all the empty storefronts where there were once businesses. This only the beginning This is not something you can vote away or pray away. It is something you must PREPARE for and RESPOND to on behalf of your future generations. The only hope is for the grassroots to proactively set up autonomous living zones, and figure out a way to secure them against the Beast.
