Chemtrails: Hiding Hazardous Waste in Plain Sight?

Scientist Publishes Study in Peer-Reviewed Journal that Coal Fly Ash is Most Likely Being Sprayed From Tankers

“The potential damage to public health and the environment is likely to be unprecedented in its planetary scope.” Dr. Herndon, PhD

Fateful HarvestThere are a number of unfortunate threats to living simply on the land and minding one’s own business these days, including: Nuclear war, UN agendas to herd everyone into cities, and chemtrails.

I got the idea that chemtrails might be an industrial waste disposal program from reading Fateful Harvest, a non-fiction book by Seattle Times reporter, Duff Wilson, about a similar practice on farms. As the write up on Amazon says: “… chemical manufacturers are disposing of leftover toxic waste by selling it to unsuspecting farmers as fertilizer. The tainted fertilizer — containing arsenic and cadmium, lead and dioxins — is believed to be destroying crops, sickening animals, and endangering the nation’s food supply. And owing to a gaping regulatory loophole, it is completely legal.”

Upcycling hazardous waste

In Fateful Harvest, Wilson investigates the practice of turning “fly ash, tire ash, flue dust, tailings, phosphoric acid from car factories, baghouse dust from recycling plants, zinc skimmings from galvanizing industries, and assorted other industrial byproducts into plant fertilizer” (see book summary Wiki ). Wilson states in his book that a semantic EPA loophole allows the toxic materials to be poured into one end of the hopper as hazardous waste and miraculously emerge as “fertilizer” from the other end. If these crazies will poison our food to save money, what makes you think they won’t spew poison into the sky? A friend of mine read the book at my suggestion and said he didn’t believe it. I get it. It’s too much of a betrayal. People can’t believe the world isn’t as sweet as they think. It’s the same mindset that causes chemtrail denial.

A real scientist looks into chemtrails

Scientific chemtrail studyJ. Marvin Herndon, PhD, of San Diego, CA, isn’t one of those people. This summer, he published a chemtrail study in a peer reviewed publication: The International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, and it confirms my suspicions. As of today, you can read his findings by downloading the pdf from the Sept. 16, 2015 article: Peer Reviewed Scientific Evidence Exposes Chemtrails as Crime Against Humanity. The koenig2099.wordpress.com article touts this scientific study as admissible in court; possibly paving the way to a civil suit. Unfortunately, as of Sept. 2, the pages now have RETRACTED stamped across each one. Here’s why: http://www.mdpi.com/1660-4601/12/9/10941/htm

Dr. Herndon, once dubbed a “maverick geophysicist” by the Washington Post, is an interdisciplinary scientist with an undergraduate degrees in physics and a doctorate in nuclear chemistry. He worked in geochemistry and cosmochemistry, which makes him qualified to hypothesize on the topic of chemtrails and geoengineering.

Dr. Herndon, first became interested in chemtrails when he noticed them over semi arid San Diego, CA, which has a climate he knows is not prone to jet contrails. Yet, almost daily, planes spewed long lines all over the sky that diffused and turned into a white haze that scattered and dimmed sunlight. People all over the USA and in foreign countries were talking about the same thing, and he wondered about the potential costs and logistics of producing millions of tons of undisclosed particulate matter out of public view.

Dr. Herndon knows coal fly ash is a major global waste product “with the appropriate  grain-size distribution for aerosolized tropospheric spraying that is readily available at extremely low cost and with existing processing and transport infrastructure.” Fly ash produced by coal burning is comprised of micron and sub-micron particles that once spewed out of smokestacks, but nowadays, the law says this hazardous waste must be captured and isolated. He also knows that coal plant representatives are always looking for ways to upcycle and sell the product, rather than bear the expense of storing it as hazardous waste.

So, he set out to scientifically prove that “coal fly ash is the aerosolized particulate sprayed in the troposphere by tanker-jets for geoengineering, weather modification and climate modification purposes and to reveal some of the adverse human public health consequences and the antagonistic consequences on Earth’s environment and biota.” He compared the chemical components of fly ash with rain and dust in the environment after heavy chemtrail spraying.

They match like a fingerprint

Dr. Herndon found that, “the tropospheric-emplaced matter has the same water-leach characteristics as coal fly ash for at least eight elements, which is indeed strong evidence of the identification of the aerosolized substance as coal fly ash.” Similarly, 14 elements collected in dust match the chemical ratios of unleached coal fly ash “like a fingerprint.”

Coal fly ash contains a host of toxins including: aluminum, arsenic, barium, beryllium, boron, cadmium, chromium (III), chromium (IV), cobalt, lead, manganese, mercury, selenium, strontium, thallium, thorium, and uranium. It has been described as being more radioactive than nuclear waste, he says.

These toxic metals threaten public health

The ultra fine aerosolized particles enter the body through the mouth, lungs, eyes, and skin, he writes. Liquids in the body extract the toxins, which are retained deep in the airways for long periods where they can cause inflammation and pulmonary injury. Health impacts depend on factors like age, physical condition, individual susceptibility, concentration, and duration of exposure.

Up the food chain

Some toxic elements from tropospheric spraying of coal fly ash may be concentrated by nature. Arsenic, for example, can be taken up by a variety of organisms and passed up the food chain. Symptoms of arsenic toxicity can be hypertension, heart disease, cancer, stroke, chronic lower respiratory disease, and diabetes. Concentration and exposure duration increase likelihood of these consequences. If a pregnant woman takes in arsenic leached from coal fly ash, it can cross over the placenta to the fetus, according to the report.

Dissolved aluminum

Likewise, the aluminum in coal fly ash poses great a great public health risk, particularly when mobile aluminum is water extracted. Aluminum is abundant in the Earth’s crust, but it is highly immobile, Dr. Herndon writes. “Consequently, our planet’s biota, including humans, have not developed natural defense mechanisms for exposure to chemically mobile aluminum. It is a matter of grave concern that aluminum in a chemically mobile form can be readily extracted from coal fly ash with rainwater or in situ with bodily fluids.

“Aluminum is implicated in such neurological diseases as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) all of which have markedly increased in recent years. Aluminum is thought to impair fertility in men and is also implicated in neurological disorders of bees and other creatures.” Dr. Herndon

Dr. Herndon notes that an interplay of political, military and commercial interests during World WarII led to the development and grand-scale deployment of a host of harmful herbicides and pesticides, such as DDT. Now, there is growing evidence the same cabal is responsible for a grave new persistent public health and environmental threat that has gone completely unremarked in the scientific literature.

So, why would anybody do this?

Blocking sunlight is being promoted by scientists as a relatively inexpensive way to curb global warming. Nature has provided a precedent, because major volcanic eruptions inject ash into the stratosphere, which may remain suspended for a year or more, and temporarily dim sunlight and cool the Earth. While academicians debate geoengineering as a potential future activity, evidence suggests Western governments and militaries are already implementing a full scale geo-engineering program, according to Dr. Herndon. But instead of mining and milling rock to produce artificial volcanic ash in sufficient volumes to cool the planet, they adopted a low-cost pragmatic alternative of coal fly ash, with consequences far more dire to life on Earth than global warming might ever be. And instead of releasing it high into the stratosphere, where there is minimal mixing and it might stay suspended, they opted to spray it into the lower atmosphere, where it mixes with air we breathe and soil that sustains life. For a detailed background on geo-engineering with links to government documents see the Geoengineering page of this blog.

Dr. Herndon’s findings are intended to stimulate further scientific investigation and discussion about chemtrails and their effects on public health and the environment. Now that the study has been retracted, that might not happen.

He cites several non-scientific resources available online about aerosolized spraying, including:
