WALLACE, Idaho (AP) — A North Idaho man who pleaded guilty to shooting at a helicopter because he was upset that it was flying too close to where he was hunting has been sentenced to at least a year in prison.

    The reason I scooped this article is because of a surreal experience I had back in the 90s during the first spurt of Constitutionalist fervor in the “Redoubt.” Andy Anderson had been elected as County Commissioner on a radical patriot-anti-government platform. A few of us had gone up to the county seat to discuss some business and, next thing I knew, I was in Mr. Anderson’s office and he was schooling me on how to effectively shoot black helicopters down.
